 COVID August 2021 Update
We continue to remain open and provide care for your pets as we have done throughout the pandemic. However we are incredibly busy and as a result we have had to shut our books to all new clients inlcuding new puppies/kittens for a couple of weeks to hopefully allow us to catch up a little. This will be reviewed on September 1st.

From August 16th, we will be allowing clients in with their pets, but will be requesting you wear a mask or face covering unless you are exempt, regardless of your vaccine status. This is as a courtesy to our staff and to continue to minimise the risk to our staff. One person per appointment only will be able to come in, and no children will be allowed in. If you have children with you, we will meet you at the door and bring your pet in whilst you wait in the car. If you have multiple pets, we can assist in bringing them in.
If anyone in your household has tested positive for Covid, please inform us as soon as possible before you arrive. If the appointment is not urgent it will be rescheduled.
These protocols are reviewed regularly. The dates are not fixed; protocols will depend on the covid situation at the time, and may change at short notice.

  • Please call when you arrive to let us know you are here, and make sure we have your contact number. We will let you know when it is safe to come to the front door.
  • Please wear a mask or face covering when you come in and use the hand sanitiser on entry and exit.
  • We will not be accepting any cash/cheque payments - it will be card/Applepay/Googlepay payments only.

These measures are in place to try to protect both staff and clients and to enable the practice to remain open. Please continue to treat staff courteously and respect any requests or decisions made by the staff.

Appointment availability is significantly reduced -  Please allow for this.

REPEAT PRESCRIPTIONS :- Please order 24 hours in advance. Call when you are in the car park and we will take payment/drop the medication outside for you.

Please call if you have any questions or if you are worried about your pet. Always call in advance before coming down to the surgery.  Please DO NOT attend the surgery if you are self-isolating or have any flu-like symptoms - call us for advice.  This is a rapidly evolving situation and the above protocols may change at short notice, especially if our vets or nurses become unwell. We may have shorter opening hours, especially at weekends when we may need to close early, or close completely at short notice - please call to check. The out of hours number if we are closed is 01707 669900 or 01707 666399
