                Meet the Team

                Dr Melanie Taylor

                BVetMed MVetSci MRCVS

Melanie graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2000, and founded the practice in 2008 on her own. She is interested in medicine (especially feline medicine) and has just completed a Masters Degree in Conservation Medicine. She is focused on providing the best care possible for your pet and relishes getting to know your pets individually. When she is not at work she is traveling in the camper van with her long suffering husband, or relaxing at home with a book and her cat.

                Part time and Locum Vets

Currently a lovely lady vet Dr Karen Horne will be taking care of the practice on Wednesday Thursdays and Fridays, and whilst Mel is on holiday. She is very experienced,  and is a true asset to the practice.

You might also meet Jenna, or Jenny - both equally as fantastic!

                Veterinary Nurses

Natasha Bentley RVN Full Time Veterinary Nurse and Physiotherapist

She will be running many of the clinics and starting some of her own. We are incredibly lucky as she is a qualified physiotherapist so will be bringing those skills to all our patients who need some rehab. She spends her time out of work with her partner,  looking after Lexi (who you may see at work) and her two horses.

Tracey Read RVN DipAVN(Surg) Part Time Veterinary Nurse

Tracey has been qualified for very many years and has a vast amount of experience, both as a practice manager and as a nurse. She has specific interests in Anaesthesia and radiology. She is kept busy outside work by her 2 daughters, and an exuberant Labrador

Amy Norton RVN Full Time Veterinary Nurse

Amy is the newest member of our team,  joining us in 2020. She is loving getting to know everyone!
